#2023-283969/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-2-2023, at 09:21hrs, officers responded to a report of an armed carjacking at a business located in the 1500 block of 2nd Avenue. An employee was inside of the parking garage, when he was approached by the suspect, who was armed with a handgun. The suspect brandished the firearm, threatened the employee, and demanded the keys to one of the vehicles. The employee handed over the keys to an SUV type vehicle. The suspect took possession of the vehicle and drove off southbound on 2nd Avenue. Officers conducted an area check for the vehicle which was not located.
#2023-285758/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 21:30hrs, KCSO Deputies contacted Southwest Patrol Officers about a shooting reported to have occurred near a business in the 9000 block of Delridge Way Southwest. Deputies originally responded to a person shot who was dropped off at a fire station in King County jurisdiction. However, the victim advised the actual incident occurred within Seattle. The location was not clearly communicated to officers, but they conducted a search of the area of the reported shooting incident. Evidence of a shooting was not located. Fire transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment of their non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
#2023-285783/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 22:30hrs, officers responded to multiple reports of a shot fired in the 600 block of Northwest 85th Street. One victim’s apartment sustained bullet damage from the incident. There were no reported injuries. A witness who heard the shot reported seeing an unknown male/suspect standing across the street from the victim’s home. Police located evidence of a shooting where the suspect was observed to be. The suspect was seen leaving the area on foot. Officers did not locate the suspect.
