Safety Alert: Attempted Luring of Young Females 

Seattle Police responded to an attempted luring of two young females earlier this morning near Windermere.  

Officers arrived in the 6200 block of 60th Avenue Northeast and contacted staff at a nearby school. It was reported to police the young female victims – ages 5 and 7 – were walking southbound along 62nd Avenue Northeast on the sidewalk when approached by a vehicle with two male occupants.  

The vehicle initially passed the victims but then completed a U-turn before calling out to them. The driver asked if they wanted to get in the vehicle, to which they replied no. The second male was seated in the back passenger seat area.  

A known subject to the victims was driving by when she observed the vehicle as it approached the young females. The neighbor offered the victims a ride and they were safely dropped off at a school. 

The male suspects were described to be Black males possibly in their mid-40s with bald heads. They were seen in a sedan type vehicle with a unique coloring of bluish purple.
