#2023-288441/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-5-2023, at 10:35hrs, officers responded to assist SFD with traffic control for a fire in an apartment building. The suspect who caused the fire was located, arrested, and subsequently booked into King County Jail for investigation of arson as well as an outstanding felony warrant.

#2023-288617/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 13:43hrs, officers responded to assist Seattle Fire Department with traffic control for a fire inside of a business. There did not appear to be any damage to the building. Officers assisted with traffic control until SFD cleared the scene.

#2023-288630/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 13:31hrs, a victim reported on 10-4-2023 around 10:00p.m. he exited a local restaurant in the 2600 block of Alki Avenue Southwest. As he was walking, two suspects jumped out, pointed a handgun at him and demanded for his items. The victim screamed, which caused the suspects to flee and leave the area in a vehicle. The victim reported no items stolen and no injury at the time of the incident.

#2023-288732/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 16:03hrs, officers responded to a hit and run collision with injuries. Witnesses reported a driver struck a male riding a scooter. The female driver called 911 to report the man had pulled a gun on her. SFD provided aid at the scene and transported the male victim to HMC for his life-threatening injuries. The female driver was placed under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon and booked into King County Jail.

#2023-288982/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 20:41hrs, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 600 block of 31st Avenue. A dark newer model SUV was observed fleeing southbound from the area. Police recovered evidence of the shooting. There were no victims or property damage located at the time of the incident.

#2023-288973/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 22:11hrs, officers attempted to arrest a suspect who fled on foot from a stolen car. The male suspect eluded officers multiple times but was eventually apprehended near 16th Avenue Street and Dallas Avenue South. He was booked into King County Jail for possession of stolen property.

#2023-289043/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 22:28hrs, West precinct patrol responded to multiple calls of shots being fired in the 220 block of 10th Avenue South. Officers found evidence of the shooting. An area check for victims and property damage was conducted yielding negative results.
