#2023-286947/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-4-2023, at 02:40hrs, police responded to a disturbance in the apartment building located in the 500 block of Rainier Avenue South. One of the subjects involved pulled out a firearm and fired it toward a second subject missing him. Officers arrived and made exigent entry to search for any victims. No gunshot victims were found. Evidence of the shooting was located and recovered. An area check for further victims outside was conducted but no one was found. The subjects involved were not cooperative and the suspect was not located.
#2023-286991/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 05:00hrs, several complainants called 911 reporting hearing several shots in an apartment building parking lot located in the 6900 block of Delridge Way Southwest. Officers arrived and located evidence of the shooting. Officers conducted an area search but didn’t locate the suspect/suspects. A witness in the area provided information that a blue sedan may have been involved in the incident.
#2023-287496/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 12:00hrs, officers responded to a report of a male brandishing a gun in the 2800 block of Northeast 110th Street. Officers arrived and determined the suspect had left the scene prior to their arrival. The victim reported the suspect pointed a firearm at them. Attempts were made to locate the suspect at multiple locations but were not successful. A K9 assisted in the search for a firearm but no firearm was located.
#2023-287514/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 12:20hrs, officers responded to reports of a physical fight in progress near East Spring Street and Martin Luther King Junior Way. As officers arrived on scene, they received information that a shooting just occurred adjacent to the location and observed several subjects running away from the intersection of 24th Avenue and East Alder Street. Police located scenes at 27th Avenue/East Alder St, Martin Luther King Junior Way/East Alder Street, and 30th Avenue/East Yesler Way. Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles involved in the shooting. Officers continued their investigation and determined a strong-arm robbery occurred. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injury from the incident.
#2023-287601/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 13:45hrs, officers were flagged down near the 2400 block Southwest Webster Street for a physical altercation between two subjects. During the altercation, the suspect produced a handgun and they struggled over it. The victim was pistol-whipped by the suspect causing a non-life-threatening injury. Police recovered the firearm and booked the suspect into King County Jail for assault.
#2023-288053/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 23:01hrs, Southwest Patrol responded to the 2500 block of Southwest Barton Street for a report of a theft. Security of the business reported three suspects were involved and were about to flee from the location. One of the occupants of the suspect vehicle reportedly fired a shot straight up into the air as they drove off. Officers conducted an extensive search of the area but found no evidence of the shooting, the suspects involved or the suspect vehicle.
