#2023-298611/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At about 0125hrs patrol responded to the report of shots fired at N 102nd St / Aurora Ave N. Ofcs located multiple shell casings on N 102nd St, just west of Aurora Ave N. No suspects or victims were on scene. No other evidence was found and there was no indication that anyone had been injured. This was screened with GVRU. Ofcs processed the scene and cleared. At about 0152 hrs dispatch broadcast that a subject had arrived at UW Medical Center Montlake ER with a GSW. The victim was in stable condition.
#2023-298553/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-15-2023 at approximately 0016hrs, East Precinct Officers responded to a walk-in gunshot injury at Swedish Hospital Cherry Hill (500 17 Av). The victim was dropped off by a silver sedan and subsequently walked into the ER Lobby. Detectives interviewed the victim.
#2023-298545/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-15-2023 at 0008hrs officers responded to a report of shots fired in George sector. A scene was located, and officers spoke to the homeowner who stated that a silver sedan pulled up and 4 unknown subjects exited the vehicle. The suspects shot at the homeowner’s house, and he returned fire with his own handgun. Casing were located and collected along with video footage from neighboring homes. Officers secured the homeowner’s pistol for evidence and cleared the scene.
#2023-298601/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0110hrs several callers/witnesses reported shots being fired from a vehicle as it drove on Yesler Wy. Several officers responded to the area, but the suspect vehicle was gone. One building sustained damage. No persons were found to be injured. Approximately 12 casings were photographed and recovered. GVRU notified.
