#2023-299737/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0739hrs, dispatch received a call about a male kneeling in the road along an arterial Downtown. Officers responded and attempted to give instructions via intercom for the suspect to stay out of the busy road. While in the road the suspect began making fighting gestures. With sufficient backup officers contacted the suspect, then the male suddenly struck officers. The suspect was taken into custody and booked for assault on officers. 

#2023-300308/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1734hrs, dispatch received calls regarding an erratically driven vehicle that parked in the 7300 block Delridge Way Southwest. The driver of the vehicle appeared to be going in and out of consciousness in the vehicle. Seattle Fire Department were dispatched to assist the driver. Upon arrival the vehicle was now in the roadway with the driver slumped over. SFD contacted the subject who was non-responsive, and they attempted to remove him from the vehicle to facilitate medical assistance. As SFD removed the driver, he immediately struck a Firefighter. SPD was called and arrived shortly thereafter and contacted the driver. The driver was taken into custody for assault and DUI. The victim was uninjured and declined medical treatment.  

#2023-300228/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1832hrs, dispatch received a call of a vehicle driving on a field located in the 14000 block of 1st Avenue Northeast while a soccer game was ongoing. The driver proceeded to drive the car on and around the field, causing people to flee and take cover. No one was struck and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was later recovered stolen and impounded. The Investigation is ongoing.

#2023-300418/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1949hrs, the victim’s family was going to visit friends that reside in the 5200 block of 15th Avenue South. Victims parked their vehicle and saw a group of males walking towards them on the sidewalk. Victim believed the group was just going to walk past them until one of the suspects put a gun up to him and demanded their stuff. The husband was punched multiple times, and another suspect pointed a gun at the wife. The 5 unknown suspects took the wife’s purse and fled on South Dawson Street. K9 responded and tracked, suspects were not located. Incident was screened with Robbery unit.

#2023-300437/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2014hrs, a victim vehicle was traveling northbound on Renton Ave South when a vehicle in front of him pulled to the side. The victim passed and when he did the suspect vehicle began firing a handgun, striking the passenger side of his vehicle. The suspect drove away in an unknown direction and the victim was not injured. After an extensive area check, the suspect and vehicle were not located. GVRU screened the incident.
