#2023-300670/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0307hrs, a victim was seated in her vehicle on Harbor Ave SW when 3 unknown suspects surrounded her vehicle and pointed a firearm at her. The victim was pulled from the vehicle and thrown to the ground. The suspects were associated with a second vehicle, a dark blue sedan. Both vehicles fled the area Southbound. Both vehicles were on scene and fled officer’s attempts to stop them. A large amount of the victim’s property was being dumped from the vehicle and was recovered at several locations. The victim was not injured and declined medics. SPD Robbery and 253 were notified.
#2023-301301/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1500hrs, there was a demonstration at the Federal Building. A group of approximately 50-60 people gathered in the plaza outside of the building. It started to rain, and most of the crowd moved inside the building. Federal Protective Services were contacted, and communication was maintained with protestors inside the building. Federal Protective Services did not request any assistance from Seattle Police Department during this incident. The protestors left the building at approximately 1645hrs. No crimes were reported, and this demonstration was peaceful.
#2023-301493/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1953hrs, the victim was stopped at the traffic light at Rainier Avenue South and 51st Avenue South when they observed a white Dodge with black rims turn onto Rainier Avenue South. As the Dodge passed the victim’s stopped vehicle, the victim heard gunshots and his rear passenger window shattered. The victim ducted down and drove home and called 911. Victim did not who or why they would be shooting at him. Incident was screened with GVRU. No evidence/scene was located.
