#2023-303778/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-20-2023, at 00:51hrs, three masked armed suspects carjacked the victim of his BMW in the 1100 block of Alki Avenue Southwest. Suspects fled eastbound in the car. There was possibly a white car used as the primary suspect vehicle. A short while later, officers responded to a report of a collision on the West Seattle bridge. Witnesses advised that masked suspects got out of this car, an Audi sedan, and into a black BMW. The Audi was a SPD reported stolen vehicle.

#2023-303819/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 02:00hrs, SPD was contacted by KCSO Transit police regarding a suspicious item that was found on street level of the transit station by security personnel. SPD’s ABS investigated the suspicious circumstances and determined the item was not a hazard.

#2023-303874/East Precinct/First Watch:

At 05:25hrs, officers responded to investigate a shooting in the East Precinct area. Upon arrival, officers located a scene and evidence of the shooting. A business in the area sustained ballistic damage to a window. No other victims were located. Patrol processed the scene and collected evidence. Seattle Fire Department responded to assist in securing the business.

#2023-303890/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 06:01hrs, two unknown race males entered a business in the 9100 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast and brandished a handgun at the clerk. One suspect went behind the counter and took store merchandise and a small sum of cash from the drawer. The two masked males then left the store. It was unknown if they left on foot or in a vehicle.

#2023-249582/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 10:00hrs, SPD ICAC detectives along with CRG served a search warrant in the 10700 block of Evergreen Way in Everett. CRG served the warrant at the location and took the suspect into custody. WA ICAC Task Force members from FBI and HSI assisted with the search and triage of onsite electronics. Suspect was booked into King County Jail.

#2023-304365/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 14:32hrs, officers responded to a reported robbery that occurred near the intersection of 42nd Avenue Southwest and Southwest College Street. The victim advised that she was walking her dog in the area around 12:40hrs when an unknown suspect assaulted her and grabbed the victim’s purse. The suspect got into a blue sedan and fled the scene.

#2023-304370/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 14:38hrs, officers responded to a robbery near the intersection of Southwest Stevens Street and 45th Avenue Southwest. The victim advised she had been assaulted and her purse was stolen by a suspect. Officers tracked some of the stolen items to Westwood Village where they located two suspects matching the description provided. One suspect ran but after a short foot chase, officers were able to take the suspect into custody. Officers recovered an unreported stolen firearm from the suspect. The other suspect was immediately detained by officers without a foot chase. Both juvenile suspects were transported to the King County Child and Family Justice Center for booking.

#2023-304375/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 14:43hrs, the victims observed several suspects attempting to steal their vehicle. A victim confronted the suspects. One of the suspects produced a firearm. The victim backed away. The suspects failed to steal the victim’s vehicle and they fled from the area. Some suspects fled on foot while others fled in a silver sedan. However, the suspects also abandoned one of their own vehicles at the scene. The abandoned suspect vehicle (BMW) may be related to another carjacking case. An area check for the suspects yielded negative results.

#2023-304566/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At approximately 17:00hrs, three suspects in a white stolen KIA SUV stole a white Hyundai SUV from a home in the Ballard neighborhood. Roughly 45 minutes later, these armed suspects and vehicles appear to have been involved in robberies in the Greenwood neighborhood. Police and Guardian 1 conducted a search, but neither vehicles nor suspects were located at the time of the incident. One of the SUVs was later recovered.

#2023-304612/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 19:00hrs, officers responded to assist SFD in Ballard. The suspect spit on multiple firefighters and an AMR EMT. The suspect was arrested for assault and an outstanding felony assault warrant. The suspect will be booked into King County Jail after being medically cleared.
