Detectives investigate after two victims were stabbed in Columbia City Saturday morning.
Shortly before 4:00 a.m., officers responded to reports of a male and female stabbing at 35th Avenue South and South Edmunds Street. Officers arrived and located two victims in their 20’s with stab wounds. Officers provided medical aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived on scene. The two victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
The two victims were walking from the bus stop and the suspect approached them from behind and stabbed the female victim. The male victim physically engaged with the suspect before also being stabbed. The suspect fled the scene after the incident.
Police searched for the suspect but have not yet located him.
Robbery detectives will lead the investigation of this case.
