#2023-311993/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0119 hours, officers responded to a burglary at a nonprofit organization in the 1900 block of 3rd Avenue. Officers investigated and observed that the office had been ransacked. The scene had no obvious signs of forced entry and nothing of value was taken. Employees believe that the incident was politically motivated due to their pro-public safety stance. GIU, Public Affairs, and the bias crimes coordinator were notified.
#2023-312054/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0259 hours, KCSO on-viewed a fight disturbance at 3rd Avenue/ Union Street and then heard shots fired. SPD responded and found two shell casings. No victims, suspects or property damage were located. GVRU and Media notified.
#2023-312020/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0156 hours, three masked suspects entered the store at 3800 block California Avenue armed with handguns. The suspect(s) went behind the counter and stole products. The suspects left the store and got into a white Kia minivan, leaving southbound on California Avenue Southwest. Officer checked the area, but the suspects were not located. These same suspects robbed a gas station in the 7200 block of East Marginal Way South at 0119 hours. Renton Police Department advised of a similar robbery which occurred at 0225 hours same description.
#2023-312477/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1330 hours, A rally and march took place in Westlake Park. Approximately 3000 people gathered and then marched to the Federal Building in the 900 block of 2nd Avenue. The group used their “de-escalators,” car brigade and bike brigade. There were no counter-protests. There were minor disturbances. There were no injuries and no arrests.
