On 11-04-2023, at 16:45hrs, officers responded to the 6500 block of 30th Avenue South for a report of a bias incident. Officers collected evidence at the scene to assist with the investigation.
#2023-318953/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 21:00hrs, officers responded to the 2900 block of South McClellan Street to a report of a male with a gunshot wound. Officers located the victim in one of the apartments in the area and it appears the wound may have been self-inflicted. The victim was transported to HMC via AMR with non-life-threatening injuries.
#2023-319060/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 23:18hrs, officers responded to the 9000 block of Seward Park Avenue South for a reporting of a shooting causing damage to an apartment window. Officers arrived and located evidence of the shooting. There was also ballistic damage to 6 parked vehicles in the area. It was reported there were 4 suspects believed to be all armed. The suspects were not located at the time of the incident.
