#2023-317020/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-02-2023, at 02:08hrs, officers were dispatched to a shots fired call near Rainier Avenue South and South McClellan Street. Officers arrived and located evidence of the shooting. No victims or property damage were located. Officers processed the scene.

#2023-317291/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

At 10:11hrs, officers responded to a 911 call in the 1900 block of Southwest Genesee Street regarding a report of a man with a rifle entering a school. Officers arrived and quickly entered the building but there was no evidence that an armed individual made it inside. Patrol, with the assistance of SWAT, searched the building and did not locate any suspects. No reports of injury at the time of the incident.

#2023-317485/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 13:12hrs, West Precinct patrol responded to reports of a runaway unmanned cargo barge near the Alaskan Way waterfront. Seattle Fire and the U.S. Coast Guard requested SPD to assist in evacuating several piers. There was significant damage to the pier near Pier 66 but there were no reported injuries at the time of the incident. Port of Seattle Police responded and will be leading the investigation.

#2023-317784/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 17:50hrs, officers responded to a road rage call in the area of 49th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Dakota Street. Officers contacted the victim, who reported there was an incident on the roadway near California Avenue Southwest and Admiral Way Southwest which lead to the suspect chasing the victim’s vehicle throughout the West Seattle area. The victim stopped his vehicle at 49th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Dakota Street and the suspect stopped behind him. A physical altercation ensued between the two. The suspect fled the scene. The victim was treated for his injuries by SFD. Officers did not locate the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle.

#2023-318036/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 23:33hrs, officers were in the area of Rainier Avenue South and Seward Park Avenue South, when they heard gunshots. A few moments later 911 callers reported a shooting near the 9000 block of Seward Park Avenue South. Officers responded and located evidence of a shooting in the roadway and bullet damage to a nearby apartment building. While investigating, a victim approached officers and stated he was chased while in his vehicle by an unknown person in a large silver SUV. As he turned into the apartment complex, the suspect vehicle began to shoot at the victim’s vehicle, striking it several times. The victim was uninjured in the incident. Another vehicle nearby was also struck by gunfire. Officers processed the scene and collected the evidence.
