Seattle Police Department Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives are investigating a shooting that left a male seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in the Chinatown-International District.
Shortly after 4:00 p.m., 911 received reports of gunfire near the intersection of 13th Avenue South and South Lane Street. Officers arrived and located a male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, approximately in his 30s-40s, was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
Police collected evidence and recovered a firearm at the scene.
Gun Violence Reduction Unit Detectives responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances that led up to shooting. No suspects have been identified.
