#2023-328936/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At about 0003 hours, dispatch broadcast that a subject arrived at HMC with a GSW to the leg. The subject arrived at HMC at 2030 hours. Officers contacted the subject and confirmed that he had sustained a GSW to shin/calf area. The subject said he was shot at about 0500 hours on 11-13-2023. The subject said he was walking in the 5400 block of S Roxbury when he felt a pain in his leg and realized he had been shot. The subject immediately ran to his home and stayed there until he could get a ride to the hospital. The subject stated that he was wearing headphones and did not hear the shot or see who shot him. The victim’s injury was non-life-threatening.
#2023-329231/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0936 hours, police responded to a residential facility in the North Precinct for an attempted stabbing call. Officers contacted and arrested the suspect without further incident as he attempted to flee the building. Suspect booked into KCJ for Investigation of Assault.
#2023-329390/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 1235 hours, officers were on routine patrol when they spotted a disturbance between a male in a wheelchair and a female who was holding a knife. Officers contacted the two and after multiple commands the female dropped the knife. After investigating officers determined the female lunged at the victim with the knife multiple times. The subject was placed under arrest for assault 1 and she was subsequently booked into KCJ.
