#2023-329931/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At about 0044 hours, a security guard observed four males in ski masks lighting items on fire on the top floor of a parking garage near a white Kia and a black Hyundai. The suspects appeared to be armed with a rifle and handgun, which they were pointing towards the roadway below. As Officers responded, the white Kia fled at a high rate of speed nearly striking officers. The two remaining thirteen-year-old suspects fled on foot and were quickly apprehended. The Hyundai was an unreported stolen vehicle out of Renton and the rifle was an airsoft gun. Both suspects were booked into YSC.
#2023-330807/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2029 hours, the victims returned home and pulled into their driveway. A black vehicle parked across the street and two occupants exited the vehicle and chased after the victims as they entered their home. The homeowner was able to close the door and lock it before the suspects could enter. The suspects fled the scene prior to the officers arriving. At least one of the suspects was armed with a pistol that appeared to have an auto switch.
#2023-330834/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At approximately 2100 hours, the victim had parked his vehicle at a residence on 51st Avenue South. the victim was approached by four suspects, who exited a silver Infiniti SUV. The suspects asked the victim which gang he belonged to, and when he responded that he wasn’t affiliated with any gangs, the suspect(s) started shooting at the victim from close range. The victim ran northbound down the sidewalk as the suspects continued to shoot at him. The victim was not struck by the gunfire, but two vehicles at the residence were struck by gunfire. Officers processed the scene and recovered evidence.
