#2023-333966/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0021 hours, officers responded to the 10600 block of Beacon Avenue South for a report of unknown suspect shooting at a house. Officers arrived and located shell casings in the roadway. Witnesses observed one suspect standing behind a white four door sedan, when the shots were fired, the suspect got into the driver’s seat and picked up a second suspect at the corner of Beacon Avenue South and South Hazel Street before leaving southbound on Beacon Avenue South. The suspect vehicle circled the block and returned to pick up a third suspect, then left northbound on Beacon Avenue South.
#2023-333980/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At approximately 0039 hours, dispatch immediately began receiving calls of multiple gun shots coming from the 4500 block of South Holden Street. Officers arrived and located rifle rounds in the 4500 block of South Holden in the street. At least one residence and one vehicle were hit by gun fire. GVRU was notified and officers processed the scene.
#2023-334158/North Precinct/First Watch:
Officers responded to a car lot that had been burglarized, with approximately ten cars being stolen. A stolen vehicle was tracked by the owner to the West Precinct area, and police responded, located and took the suspect into custody after a foot chase. The suspect ran again while being fingerprinted and was again apprehended after a short foot chase. Items from the car lot office were found in the stolen vehicle. The suspect was arrested for burglary, theft of motor vehicle, and an eluding warrant. The suspect was taken to HMC from KCJ after a possible medical issue.
#2023-334376/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1258 hours, a group of about 1000 Demonstrators (Jewish Voice for Peace: Ceasefire Now) convened at the base of the Seattle Space Needle to protest the middle East conflict. The demonstrators were peaceful, and they communicated with officers. However, the demonstration caused the Seattle Space Needle to close abruptly. There were no counter demonstrators and no disturbances. The event concluded at 1600 hours.
