At 1400 hours, various SPD units were deployed to monitor the weekly “End the Genocide March and Rally.” Approximately 1500-2000 people gathered and marched to 915 2nd Avenue, The Federal Building. There were no counter protests and no disturbances occurred. The demonstration concluded shortly before 1730 hours.
#2023-333724/East Precinct/Second Watch:
shortly before 7:00 p.m. dispatch received a call about a suspicious package found at a Jewish Community Center in the 300 block of 18th Avenue East. The package was like suspicious packages received at other synagogues in the area. Police secured the package and contacted Seattle Fire Department for cautionary purposes. The SFD HazMat Team rendered the package safe. The Seattle Police Department ABS Unit took possession of the package as evidence. The FBI will continue the ongoing investigations of this incident.

At 2005 hours, dispatch received a reporting that a male robbed a woman of her cellphone. Officers arrived and located the suspect. The suspect resisted arrest. One officer was assaulted. Two officers sustained injuries. The suspect was booked into KCJ.
