At about 2325 hours, a suspect took two cases of beer from the aisles inside a business in the 4200 block of SW Morgan St. The suspect passed all points of sale and was confronted by staff member. The suspect raised his shirt revealing the handle of a firearm to the employee in show of force. The suspect walked SB through the lot with the merchandise. The suspect likely left in a vehicle due to the size of merchandise stolen and the cold weather. No injuries. Area check negative.

At 1400 hours, 1500-2000 protesters gathered and in Westlake Park for the weekly “Stop the Genocide March and Rally. At approximately, 1500 hours the group marched from Westlake Park to 915 2 Ave. Along the way the group appears to have chalked and spray painted the sidewalk, bus shelters and signs. When they arrived at 915 2 Ave, The Federal Building, members of the group threw fake blood on the windows and left numerous cardboard coffins in the courtyard.
#2023-340493/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0410 hours suspects, using a stolen vehicle crashed into the front door of a mini mart to gain access. The suspects subsequently stole a large amount of tobacco and vape products. The vehicle was later recovered and returned to owner after an evidentiary search. Patrol processed the scene.
