Stabbing Leaves Woman in Critical Condition 

Seattle Police received a 911 call about a woman who was stabbed early this morning in the Rainier Valley. 

Police arrived around 5:00 a.m. and found a 31-year-old female victim with stab wounds on the sidewalk in the 6900 block of Martin Luther King Junior Way South. Officers provided aid until Seattle Fire arrived on scene. SFD took over care and transported the victim in critical condition to Harborview Medical Center. 

Officers learned the victim knew the assailants involved in the physical altercation. The two suspects, a 41-year-old female and a 35-year-old male, drove to the location and confronted the victim on the street near the 3700 block of South Willow Street.  

The victim was stabbed by the female suspect and then ran from them. The male suspect driver was reported to be armed with a firearm during the incident. The details of what led up to the confrontation that resulted in the stabbing have not yet been determined.  

Both suspects were seen fleeing from the location in a green GMC Yukon. 

Homicide detectives will be leading the investigation of this case.
