#2023-342254/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 11-28-2023, at 04:42hrs, units responded to the 9700 block of Aurora Avenue North regarding a commercial burglary. The suspect(s) gained access by using a vehicle to ram through the exterior of the building. Suspect(s) left the scene with miscellaneous product. The suspect vehicle was left at the scene.

#2023-342314/Southwest/First Watch:

At 07:10hrs, officers were dispatched to a report of a bomb threat in the 2600 block of California Avenue Southwest. Officers arrived and spoke with the store manager of the business. He reported receiving a phone call where the caller stated they had placed an incendiary device inside the store and would detonate it if not provided what he demanded. The store employees evacuated the store prior to police arrival. Officers conducted an extensive search inside the building and found no incendiary device.

#2023-341559/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 10:36hrs, officers responded to the 5400 block of Wilson Avenue South for a report of a suspicious package. Officers recovered the package and submitted it into evidence.

#2023-342703/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 14:03hrs, police responded to a suspicious package call in the 2600 block of Northeast 80th Street. Officers responded and collected the package for further investigation.

#2023-342749/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 14:33hrs, officers responded to an assault in the 3700 block of Southwest 104th Street near a local elementary school. The female victim reported she got out of her parked vehicle on Southwest 104th Street. The victim observed a sedan with the passenger window down, pull up next to her. The driver of the sedan then sprayed pepper spray out the window towards the victim. The pepper spray caused children around the area to cough. The suspect fled the area heading westbound on Southwest 104th Street. Officers checked the area but could not locate the suspect. SFD evaluated those effected by the secondary exposure to the pepper spray at the scene.

#2023-342870/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 16:29hrs, police responded to a shooting near the intersection of 22nd Avenue East and East Cherry Street. Multiple callers reported that two vehicles, a black SUV and a red SUV were shooting at each other. While officers were responding, it was reported a black SUV had flipped over at 23rd Avenue East and East Spruce Street. The driver of the black SUV was seen exiting and running eastbound prior to police arrival. While processing the scene, the driver of the black SUV called 911 to report that he had been involved. The driver stated that he believed he had been targeted by the suspects inside the red SUV for an unknown reason. Officers collected evidence of the shooting. GVRU detectives will lead the follow up investigations.
