#2023-345664/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 12-1-2023, at 10:45hrs, West Bike patrol officers assisted Animal Control serving a search warrant in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue Extension South. The warrant was to recover any animals in the suspect’s possession, apartment or his partner’s apartment. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Investigation of Fugitive, and SAS will follow up with animal cruelty charges at a later date.

#2023-346093/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 15:30hrs, Seattle Police Department was notified by Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department about a victim that was dropped off at the Swedish Mill Creek Campus in Everett with a confirmed non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Snohomish County advised the victim had reported they were shot in Seattle somewhere near the 700 block of South Dearborn Street around 15:30hrs. Patrol units checked the location/area for a possible scene and found none. There were no reports of shots or any other disturbances reported at this location. It is unknown if this was an accidental or intentional shooting at this time.

#2023-346035/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 16:18hrs, East Precinct officers responded to the intersection of 24th Avenue South and South Main Street for a shots fired call. Officers located a victim whose vehicle sustained ballistic damage and an apartment in the 100 block of 23rd Ave S that also sustained damage. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident. Police recovered evidence of the shooting in the area.

#2023-346243/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 19:34hrs, a missing juvenile was located and reunited with family. The Amber Alert was cancelled.

#2023-346214/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 19:57hrs, a victim was opening the gate to his business at Martin Luther King Junior Way South and South Warsaw Street when they were approached by the suspect. The suspect asked for the time, so the victim pulled out his cell phone to provide the time. The suspect then displayed a black handgun and demanded the victim’s phone. The suspect was last seen walking southbound on 38th Avenue South. Police conducted an area check for the suspect that yielded negative results.
