Three Commercial Burglaries in North Precinct

Saturday, December 2nd, North Precinct patrol officers responded to three reported commercial burglaries that all occurred within approximately thirty minutes of each other.

Police first investigated an incident that occurred in the 300 block of North 36th Street just after 3:00 a.m. A black Honda van was used to ram the entrance of a business in the area. The multiple suspects then left the location in two vehicles, a gray sedan, and another dark colored vehicle.

The second response happened in the 14300 block of 15th Avenue Northeast around 3:30 a.m. Officers found a running red Hyundai vehicle with severe damage to the rear. The business sustained significant damage to the front door and wall of the building.

A witness reported 6-7 suspects all dressed in dark clothing with hoods went inside the store for a short time before leaving the scene in multiple vehicles.

Around 4:15 a.m., police received the third 911 call about a burglary in the 4500 block of University Way Northeast. Another vehicle, a gray Hyundai, had been used to ram into the entry of a commercial business and abandoned at the scene. Police were provided a similar description of 6-7 involved suspects wearing baggy clothing with hoods.

Officers verified the black Honda van and red Hyundai used in the first two incidents were stolen. The gray Hyundai may be an unreported stolen out of Everett. For all three businesses, the multiple suspects entered and stole an unknown amount of merchandise.

General Investigation Unit detectives will be investigating these cases.
