#2024-007475/East Precinct/First Watch:

On 1-9-2024, at 05:25hrs, officers responded to a stabbing incident. The victim sustained multiple stab wounds. The suspect fled the scene and was not located but was later identified. Life saving measures were conducted by patrol and Seattle Fire treated the victim at the scene. He was later transported to HMC for further treatment.

#2024-007571/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 08:28hrs, due to severe weather, power lines were brought down over all lanes of traffic on East Marginal Way South and South Idaho Street causing massive traffic backups. Patrol responded and stabilized the scene, coordinated with traffic units, cleared out the backups, called for SDOT and City Light, and controlled the scene until the other city departments cleared the wires in the roadway. After four hours it was determined that the traffic lights could not be fixed immediately. The intersection was left uncontrolled. All units/departments cleared the scene.

#2024-008074/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 16:23hrs, the victim was sitting in a private business waiting area when the suspect walked into the lobby. The suspect approached the victim and demanded his cell phone be handed over or the suspect would blow up the business and/or harm the victim. The victim did not perceive the blowing up of the business to be credible but believed the suspect would have harmed him in other ways had he not handed over the phone. The suspect took the phone and left the business. The victim called 911 to report the incident. An area check was negative.

#2024-008151/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 18:11hrs, a King Sector two-officer unit was conducting patrol near 12th Avenue South and South King Street when they located an occupied parked stolen vehicle. A female exited the stolen vehicle and began walking away upon sight of officers. Officers detained the female, who stated another female was driving the vehicle and there was also a male with them. Officers were also told the other female and male were inside an adjacent store. Officers subsequently located and detained the other involved suspects. Information was developed that the male was armed and he was frisked for weapons, in which a handgun was located on his person. Records check revealed a UPFA warrant for the male and one of the females had a burglary warrant. Based on the investigation, all three subjects were booked into KCJ for their respective arrest warrants and applicable felony charges.

#2024-008328/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 22:53hrs, multiple callers reported to 911 shots being fired in Rainier Beach. Officers arrived and located the scene, with multiple casings on the ground. While investigating the incident, a caller stated a bullet had come through their wall and landed inside their home. Officer located the round that entered the home. Police recovered all the evidence of the shooting. No one reported being injured at the time of the incident.

#2024-007834/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 12:49hrs, officers on-viewed a suspicious vehicle bearing stolen plates and two unconscious occupants. On making contact drugs and other drug paraphernalia were observed inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested for a felony eluding warrant and the passenger identified and released. The vehicle was seized for a search warrant. The warrant was served and officers recovered: .7g counterfeit Xanax (fentanyl), 36.7g methamphetamines, and 9.6g counterfeit Oxycodone pills (fentanyl), all packaged for delivery/distribution. Officers recovered one loaded handgun and additional ammunition as well as rifle ammunition, and scales and baggies to package drugs for distribution. The recovered handgun was verified stolen out of Seattle.
