#2024-014118/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0654 hours, Officers responded to the 5900 block of Delridge Way Southwest for a shooting that just occurred. Upon arrival they located one GSW victim. Officers provided medical aid until SFD arrived on scene. The victim told police he heard someone knocking on his apartment door and when he opened the front door, he was shot in the leg by a known suspect. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction and was not located. The victim was transported to HMC and was in stable condition.
#2024-014494/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1409 hours, Officers responded to a call for service near the intersection of Madison Street and Boylston Avenue for an assault. The victim reported that the suspect chased and assaulted him. While doing so the suspect screamed bias remarks towards him. Police interviewed the victim; it was found that the victim believed the suspect had targeted him specifically and assaulted him due to his race and ethnicity. An area check was conducted for the suspect by multiple officers which led to negative results.
#2024-014902/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2345 hours, Officers responded to a report of felony harassment with bias language around 3rd Avenue and Pike Street. Officers located the suspect, and he was taken into custody and booked him into King County Jail.
