Seattle Police Department Robbery Unit detectives are investigating a shooting that left a male in his 30’s seriously injured in a Northgate Neighborhood.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m., 911 received reports of a man shot in the 11000 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast. Officers arrived and located a male with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police provided aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious but stable condition.
A witness stated the victim entered the suspect’s vehicle and there was an altercation. The male was shot and pushed from what was described as a green sedan. The suspect fled the scene in the vehicle after the incident.
Police processed the scene for evidence. Robbery Unit detectives responded and are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting. No suspect has been identified.
