A 36-year-old male is in stable condition at The University of Washington Medical Center after being shot in the Roosevelt neighborhood Monday night.
Shortly before 6:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 6800 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast. Officers arrived but did not locate a victim. Witnesses told officers they saw two men arguing before shots rang out. Multiple people and vehicles fled from the scene. One male was seen limping away.
While on scene, officers learned one male victim arrived at UW Medical Center. The male is in stable condition.
The exact circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown and officers have not identified any suspects. Detectives assigned to the Gun Violence Reduction Unit will be leading the investigation.
