On 1-31-2024, at 00:34hrs, officers were dispatched to a shooting call near South Roxbury Street and Waters Avenue South. Officers located evidence of a shooting in the street. Multiple houses and vehicles were struck by gunfire. No victims or suspects were located. Patrol processed the scene.
#2024-29029/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 12:24hrs, a suspect went into a local bank and handed an envelope to an employee at a desk. The envelope demanded cash be placed inside. No money was available from the employee. The suspect turned around and left the bank. Area check for the suspect yielded negative results.
#2024-29180/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 14:50hrs, the victim observed the two suspects approaching him on foot. Both suspects were wearing ski masks and holding firearms. The victim’s mother noticed what was happening and ran towards their location and began yelling, which resulted in the suspects running to a nearby vehicle. An area check for the suspects was conducted but they were not located.
