Police are investigating after a man was shot during a drive-by in North Seattle neighborhood.
Shortly after 4:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound victim in the 10000 block of Aurora Avenue North.
Police arrived and located a 36-years-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the back. SPD provided aid until Seattle Fire Department arrived. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious, but stable condition.
The male was in a vehicle when he was shot in the back during the drive-by shooting. After the incident, the suspect fled the scene in a black SUV southbound through an alley. The suspect is described as a male wearing a black jacket and white hoodie.
Gun Violence Reduction Unit Detectives will be leading the investigation. The suspect has not been identified.
