Seattle Police Homicide detectives are investigating after a male was found deceased in the Yesler Terrace neighborhood.
Shortly after 7:00 a.m., dispatch received a call by a passerby that a man was down in the 300 block of 12th Avenue [alley to the west]. Police arrived and located a deceased male in his 50’s with obvious head trauma.
Officers secured the area until Homicide detectives and members of the Crime Scene Investigation Unit arrived.
The Homicide Unit will be leading the investigation.
