#2024-038872/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1726 hours, officers were dispatched to the tiny homes located near the 9100 blk MLK Jr Wy S to a report of a resident chasing another resident with a cane. When officers arrived, the victim/ witnesses stated that the suspect tried to hit the victim and was calling him names solely based on his sexuality. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into KCJ for Malicious Harassment.
#2024-039156/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2330 hours, officers responded with SFD for a possible arson in an apartment building in Belltown. They located a compressed butane bottle that had been intentionally set on fire causing it to explode. Officers interviewed a neighbor and were able to develop PC. The suspect was arrested and booked into KCJ.
#2024-038984/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1942 hours, officers responded to a Magnolia area school for a burglary. With assistance from school security officers arrived and arrested two juvenile suspects. The portable that was burgled contained biased language written on the dry erase board. Two juveniles were booked into YSC.
