#2024-039276/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0247 hours, Patrol officers responded to a report of shots heard in the 8800 block of 18 Ave SW. Officers arrived and conducted an extensive area check. No scene or evidence of a shooting was initially located. Witnesses saw a silver sedan driving by their home as the vehicle passes 5 distinct gunshots are heard before the vehicle speeds away. No victims or property damage from the possible shooting.
#2024-039316/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0400 hours, Officers were in the area of 12 AVE S and S Jackson St when they heard what sounded like automatic gun fire just to the north. They located four vehicles with bullet damage and casings and no victims.
#2024-039829/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1800 hours, a kite surfer called 911 reporting that his friend who was also kite surfing on Lake Washington had not made it to shore and had not been seen for at least 15 minutes. He was last seen north of the 520 floating bridge and a strong wind was blowing to the north. Harbor Patrol arrived and KCSO was enroute. SFD soon advised that the missing kite surfer had paddled to shore and asked a resident to call his wife for a ride. He was unharmed.
#2024-039857/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1830 hours, three suspects entered the store, took property from inside the store, and left without paying for it. While in the store one of the suspects pointed a gun at the clerk. Evidence was collected and logged. The suspect was not apprehended.
#2024-039920/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2017 hours, officers responded to an armed robbery of minimart in the 8900 block of 14 Ave S. Three Suspects (1 handgun) robbed the store of vape/smoke supplies and cash. Suspects fled the store on foot prior to police arrival. Containment was set and K9 responded to assist. A vehicle was likely used to leave the area.
