#2024-45097/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0248 hours, a victim was walking south bound on Dexter Ave N crossing Harrison St. when a vehicle drove onto the sidewalk and struck the victim. The victim saw the vehicle coming and was able to dive out of the way and avoid being struck head on. SFD was called to the scene and Medic 1 transported the victim to HMC. The suspect vehicle fled the scene.
#2024-44977/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0349 hours, officers responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian call. The victim was asleep on the sidewalk when he was struck by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle ran over the victims legs and then fled the scene. The vehicle matched the description in similar incident earlier in the day. The victim was treated at the scene by SFD and later transported to HMC. TCIS was notified. Detectives are working to identify the vehicle and if both incidents are related.
#2024-45105/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0308 hours, officers responded to the 1900 block of 1 Ave S to a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and located a single victim to the south with a GSW to the leg and provided medical treatment until SFD transported them to HMC in stable condition. Officers located almost 80 FCCs of 10mm, .40. and .45 calibers spread throughout the lot. While at the scene, a second victim arrived at HMC via a personal vehicle and was treated for non-life threatening injures. GVRU responded to the scene and HMC to assist with the investigation. There is currently no suspect(s) description, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
#2024-45105/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1135 hours, Officers located a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was taken in an armed car jacking. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle; the vehicle fled. Officers requested permission to pursue, which was granted. The pursuit was terminated when the suspect drove NB into the SB lanes of the 99 tunnel. The suspect vehicle was able to escape containment and is still at large.
#2024-45502/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1338 hours, at 12th Avenue S and King Street officers watched a suspect selling narcotics. An arrest team was established and took the suspect into custody. Search incident to arrest officers located: 3 Grams of “M30” Fentanyl Pills, .4 Grams of Rock Fentanyl, 3.4 Grams of Fentanyl, and .9g Methamphetamine, and $218. Suspect booked into KCJ without incident.
