Police are investigating after a man was stabbed near Westlake Center in Downtown Seattle.
Shortly before 11:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a male stabbed in the 1500 block of 3rd Avenue. Police arrived and located a 29-year-old male suffering from a stab wound to his head. Aid was provided at the scene and the man was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threating injuries.
Witnesses stated there was an altercation before the stabbing.
Police are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the assault. The male suspect fled the scene immediately following the stabbing and remains unidentified.
