#2024-062253/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0053 hours officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 7000 block of Rainier Av S. Officers responded and located apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floor with property damage. The scene was located at the corner of Rainier AV S/S Garden St where officers recovered shell casings. The scene was processed, and evidence submitted. The Incident was screened with GVRU.

#2024-062269/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0146 hours officers responded to a report of multiple shots heard. The caller was identified as a chronic crisis caller who reported he was armed with a firearm and had fired multiple shots at people trying to enter his unit. Officers arrived and contacted the Reporting Person who initially refused to exit his unit. The RP believed that suspects were attacking him from a location across the street. Officers discovered the RP had fired 6-8 rifle rounds through an interior wall of his unit, and rounds through his apartment door. Officers arrested the RP and conducted a welfare check of the RP’s unit and all neighboring units. A firearm was recovered.

#2024-063042/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1855 hours officers were dispatched to an assault call reported at 3 Av/Pike St. Incident was called in by MID Ambassadors. At the scene two victims reported being assaulted by an unknown suspect. First assault occurred at 4 Av/Pike St; the second assault occurred on 3rd Av. Both assaults were unprovoked, and a bottle was used to strike the victims. The suspect fled the area before officers arrived on scene. Both victims were treated by SFD and declined further medical assistance.

#2024-063045/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1856 hours a male called 911 saying he was shot in the face/mouth at 3/Cherry. After he was located, he refused to cooperate and walked away. He returned requesting fire for his mouth. He did have a hole in his upper lip but there was no other damage to his mouth to indicate the weapon was a firearm. No one in the 600 blk of 3 Ave heard or saw anything and the suspect was not located.

#2024-063005/South Precinct/Second Watch:

Shortly after 6:00 p.m., officers responded to the 9000 block of Seward Park Ave S to reports of shots fired. Police arrived and located male victim with a grazing gunshot wound to the hand. Seattle Fire Department arrived, provided aid and the man left not requiring further treatment. Officers recovered several shell casings from the scene where businesses, homes and vehicles were struck. No suspects have been identified and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
