UPDATE: Seattle Police Arrest Suspect in North Seattle Homicide

Seattle police have arrested a 31-year-old man linked to a homicide from March 13.

A 39-year-old man was shot to death just before 2:30 a.m. in the area of North 105th Street and Aurora Avenue North.

On March 22, Seattle police detectives from the Homicide Unit, Gun Violence Reduction Unit and and Narcotics Unit located the suspect. SPD’s Community Response Group arrested the suspect.

He was booked in the King County Jail for murder.


A 39-year-old male is dead after a shooting in North Seattle early Wednesday morning.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m., officers were in the area of North 105th Street and Aurora Avenue North when they heard gunfire. Immediately following the gunfire, dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting a man shot at a nearby gas station.

Officers arrived and found the male outside the business with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers began CPR until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived. Despite all life-saving efforts, the male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.  

Homicide Unit detectives and The Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to the scene. No suspects have been identified at this time and detectives are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
