#2024-079921/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0152 hours, officers responded to the area of 2nd Ave S and S Main St for a shots call. Multiple callers reported several gunshots. No suspect information and no victims reported. Officers recovered several shell casings in the parking lot.
#2024-079954/South Precinct/First Watch:
At 0303 hours, police received a report that a suspect assaulted his neighbor. During the assault the suspect used derogatory language and threatened to kill the victim. The victim believed the assault occurred because of bias against him. The suspect was arrested. KCJ declined the suspect, and he was transported to HMC. The suspect was cleared by HMC and was booked into KCJ.
#2024-080628/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2023 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting call. Police arrived and located spent casings and a victim vehicle with bullet damage. The victim vehicle had struck multiple parked vehicles and the driver fled on foot. Two uninvolved vehicles were also struck by bullets. No shooting victims or suspects were located.
