Seattle Police Search Greenwood Home, Arrest Man in ICAC Taskforce Child Exploitation Material Investigation

Seattle police arrested a 29-year-old man on child exploitation material charges after an online tip led them to his home.

On March 29 at about 9 a.m., SPD Internet Crimes Against Children investigators, officers with the Community Response Group and Washington ICAC Taskforce members served a search warrant at the man’s home in the 8500 block of Dayton Avenue North in Greenwood.

The investigation started with a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Hundreds of child sexual abuse material images were distributed.

The 29-year-old suspect was taken into custody and interviewed by detectives. He admitted to viewing and possessing the images. Officers found more evidence on electronic devices during the search.

The suspect was arrested for possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and dealing in depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

He was booked in the King County Jail.
