Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Capitol Hill Sunday morning.
Shortly before 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a male stabbed in the 1500 block of 10th Avenue. Police arrived and located a 26-year-old male suffering from a stab wound. Aid was provided at the scene and the man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Witnesses stated there was an altercation before the stabbing.
Police are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the assault. The male suspects fled the scene following the stabbing and remain unidentified.
