#2024-084893/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0116 hours, officers responded to a property damage call in the 6300 block of M L King Jr Way S. Upon arriving officers located significant graffiti and several broken windows on the Starbucks at that location. The graffiti read “How many dead in Gaza?” on both sides of the building as well as “Gaza” in spray paint all around the building. A witness identified a suspect for the broken windows (but did not see the graffiti occur). Officers located the suspect in the area and took him into custody, the suspect had multiple warrants.
#2024-085653/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1840 hours, Seattle Fire responded to a possible OD in Ballard. The firefighters were in the process of assisting the female subject with transport to the hospital. The subject said, “Nah, I want to go to jail instead” and assaulted four firefighters by smacking them with her hands. A “Help” the firefighter was broadcast. Officers responded and the suspect was taken into custody w/o incident. No firefighters were injured. Suspect was booked into KCJ for Felony Assault.
#2024-085846/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2217 hours, Officers responded to a report of shots. Upon arrival, Officers located five 9mm casings. Witnesses reported an argument between 2 males. As one male left the area to the north in a red sedan, the suspect fired at the car. The suspect left the area on foot to the south. Neither the victim or suspect were located.
