#2024-088388/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 1513 hours, a suspect robbed a bank by way of a note in the 1000 block of NE 63rd St . Suspect GOA upon officer arrival. Robbery notified.
#2024-088310/West Precinct/Second Watch:
West precinct officers responded to 12th Avenue S and Main Street reference a hit & run collision w/injuries. As officers were arriving on-scene, the suspect vehicle was found abandoned/disabled around the corner from the collision and witnesses reported two suspects running from the vehicle. Officers located the suspects who ran again and briefly evaded capture. Containment was quickly established and both suspects, who were found to be juveniles, were subsequently located and taken into custody. One of the victims of the hit & run was pregnant and sustained non-serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for further medical evaluation. The vehicle the suspects were driving was an confirmed unreported stolen out of Seattle that occurred just prior to the collision. The driver suspect was arrested for multiple felonies and booked into CCFJC. The felony charges for the other suspect were not eligible for booking into CCFJC and he was released to his mother.
#2024-087998/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 04/01/2024, at approximately 0822 HRS, Units responded to an apartment complex in the 9100 Block of Holman Rd NW regarding a suspect who threatened to shoot an employee of the complex. When Officers attempted to contact the suspect, he threatened to pepper spray them. As Officers were backing up, the suspect reached out of his door and dispensed a large amount of bear mace in their direction. This resulted in the entire hallway being heavily contaminated, which affected Officers ability to see and breathe. The suspect then made threats to shoot Officers. Containment was established on the apartment. 221 responded and a command post was established. HNT responded and attempted communication with the suspect. The suspect continued to destroy items in his residence. 222 arrived and took over command. SWAT responded to the scene and the suspect was subsequently taken into custody at 1803 HRS. He was booked into KCJ for Assault 3, Malicious Mischief, and Harassment.
