#2024-091141/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0151 hours the listed date and time, 911 received multiple calls of shots heard near S King ST and Stadium PL S. Officers arrived and located casings in a nearby intersection. A responding Sgt. located a suspected involved vehicle. With additional patrol resources conducted a high risk stop, detaining multiple subjects. No victims or property damage was located. The subjects were identified and released.
#2024-091901/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0819 hours units responded to a threats/weapons call in the 500 block of Rainier Ave. S. During the investigation, officers discovered that an armed robbery had occurred. The suspect was taken into custody and a shotgun was located in a nearby alley. The suspect was interviewed by Robbery detectives before being booked into KCJ.
#2024-092383/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1616 hours, on the above date and time officers responded to the intersection of 9 Ave and Broadway for a shooting. Upon the completion of their investigation, it was found that the victim vehicle was driving very slowly on Broadway. The suspect vehicle angry at the victims driving pulled alongside them and the backseat passenger fired one round from a firearm into the victims’ vehicle. No one in the victim vehicle was struck by the gunfire or injured. A search for the suspect vehicle led to negative results.
