#2024-090602/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At approximately 2024 hours, officers were dispatched to reports of shots heard in the area of Seward Park. Officers located 19 9MM FCC’s in the roadway of the upper loop of Seward Park. No witnesses or property damage was located. GVRU Notified.
#2024-090549/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1912 hours, a vehicle was travelling at 31 Ave SW/SW Barton St and drove through a red light. The vehicle was struck by a second vehicle causing it to rollover. The vehicle that drove through the red light struck a third vehicle. The streets were shut down for over an hour. Neither driver showed any signs of impairment. One driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 253 and a PIO was notified about the collision.
#2024-090710/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2245 hours, officers were in the area of 7th AVE S and S Main St when they heard seven gun shots. Officers were able to get a vehicle description with a license plate and locate seven fired casings. Two hours later, the suspect vehicle was located at 4th AVE and Pike St. Officers were able to take two into custody. One gun was located on a suspect (3D printed), one gun was located in the car and various narcotics including scales. Both suspects were booked into KCJ on multiple charges.
