Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Northgate neighborhood following an altercation.
Shortly before 6:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a male stabbed in the 10300 block of Meridian Avenue North. Police arrived and located an adult male suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen. Aid was provided at the scene and the man was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threating injuries.
Officers located the original stabbing scene a short distance away at North 105 Street and Meridian Avenue North.
The victim was walking with his brother and encountered a group of subjects. A mutual fight ensued, and the man was stabbed by a juvenile male.
The suspect left the scene immediately following the stabbing and remains unidentified.
