At 0810 hours, officers responded to the 900 block of N 143 St for an assault call. The suspect lunged at the victim several times while yelling slurs directed toward her race before spitting in her face. Backing officers located the suspect nearby and he was arrested for Investigation of a Hate Crime offense.
