#2024-112676/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0405 hours, officers responded with SFD to two dumpsters on fire in an alley next to a building in 1100 Denny Way. The building sustained minor damage. The fire was extinguished. This incident was screened with ABS.

#2024-113147/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1433 hours, a suspect entered multiple clothing stores in the 2600 block of SW Barton St with a handgun tucked in his belt partially concealed. The store LP and complex security called 911 due to the suspicious actions of the subject and weapon. Officers arrived and contacted the witnesses. During the investigation, Officers contacted a second clothing store who stated the subject had shoplifted items and brandished the gun when LP attempted to stop him. The suspect fled the area on foot. An area check was conducted by patrol and Guardian One with negative results. Incident screened with Robbery Unit.

#2024-113213/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1544 hours, officers were dispatched to a call of a man brandishing a gun at a park. Officers arrived in the area and located a subject matching the description with a gun on his waistband. Officers quickly formed a contact team, stopped traffic, and cleared pedestrians. The subject refused to comply with Officers orders to get down on the ground but with the assistance of a Spanish speaking officer, the subject complied and was taken into custody without incident. The firearm turned out to be Berretta PX 4 BB Gun. Officers placed the subject under arrest for Unlawful use of Weapon to Intimidate, however the subject threatened to shoot the Primary Officer and was later booked into King County Jail for Felony Harassment.

#2024-113305/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1734 hours, a suspect robbed a business in the 2800 Beacon Avenue South. The suspect implied a gun, but the employees were unsure if it was real. The suspect left the area on foot. An extensive K-9 track had negative results.

#2024-113431/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At approximately 1955 hours officers were dispatched to a robbery in the University District. Victim stated to officers that the suspect gathered clothing items and walked towards the exit of the store. The employee informed the suspect that he needed to pay for the items, and pointed to where the cash registers were. The suspect lifted up his shirt and began to lift a firearm out of his waistband. The suspect then held the firearm in this position as he backed out of the store. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate suspect.
