#2024-113689/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0042 hours, officers responded to a fight call located at the 4400 BLK of California Ave SW. Prior to officers’ arrival it was reported that the suspect was inside the bar throwing punches at patrons. Officers detained the suspect. The victims to the crimes were uncooperative and some left the scene. Officers informed the suspect that he was free to leave. The suspect kept cursing and he made a threat to shoot an officer. The suspect was then placed in custody, and he was transported to KCJ.
#2024-113725/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At approximately 0130 hours, multiple callers reported that six people were in a physical altercation in the area of Garlough Av SW and SW Hanford St, when one of the parties involved fired a gun. All participants were said to have then fled in a vehicle, traveling northbound. Officers arrived and canvassed the area for evidence, finding a spent shell casing. There was no indication that anyone was shot and an area check for possible suspects met with negative results. GVRU was contacted.
#2024-113720/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0119 hours, officers were dispatched to a robbery in Beacon Hill. Officers contacted the victim, who reported that he was robbed by three unknown male suspects, one of which was armed with a handgun. The victim sustained injuries to his face and head. An area check was negative for the suspects. Robbery was notified.
#2024-114008/West Precinct/First Watch:
At approximately 0630 hours a woman with her one year old daughter asked an unhoused acquaintance with mental health issues to watch her child while she attempted to locate narcotics in the Downtown Core. The woman that the child was left with stated the mother was gone for hours and she became distressed that she could not care for the child and that the mother was gone. The acquaintance called 911 to report that she had the child and was seeking assistance. Officers arrived and took protective custody of the child. CSO’s provided transport to the West Precinct where CPS arrived to take custody of the child. The mother was located and placed under arrest for child abandonment.
#2024-113865/West Precinct/First Watch:
Officers conducted a narcotics operation in Belltown. The operation resulted in 3 arrests.
#2024-114111/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1200 hours, demonstrators began gathering for the “Labor for Cease Fire” Demonstration at 915 2 Ave. When contacted, the group stated that they would be rallying in the promenade of the Federal Building giving speeches until 1500. The group did not march, and there were no disturbances. At its height the group had approximately 500 people. The speeches ended around 1445 and the whole group had dispersed by 1530.
#2024-114200/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1416 hours, residents reported a commotion followed by gun shots in the 2500 block of 29 Av S. Officer located evidence of gunfire, but no victims. Officers did not locate any suspects and this is an ongoing investigation.
#2024-114347/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1300 hours, Third Watch West Precinct Officers conducted a daytime narcotics operation in Belltown in response to residents and business owner’s concerns with drug activity in the area. The operation netted Four Arrests and the the recovery of 26 Fentanyl pills, 17.9 grams powdered Fentanyl, 29 grams crack cocaine, 43.6 grams of Methamphetamine, 12.1 grams Heroin and $1,354.15 in cash, of which $1,130.25 was seized.
