#2024-125549/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0037 hours, officers were on scene at an assault call in the 3500 block of Rainier Avenue South, when they located a shell casing on the ground in front of the building. Police were able to view surveillance footage from the property. The footage showed a disturbance outside of the building. During the disturbance one of the involved subjects, fired a round at the victim. The suspect then left on foot. The suspect was not located during an area check. The victim was uninjured.

#2024-125574/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0133 hours, officers responded to a report of 3-4 gunshots in the area Rainier Ave South/South Holden Street. Police arrived in the area and located a shell casing and a live round. No victims or property damage located. Incident screened with GVRU.  

#2024-125586/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0209 hours, officers responded to a shots call in the 2100 block North Northgate Way. Police located a scene and spoke to witnesses who said that two unknown males were heard arguing before numerous shots were heard. No one was injured. Officers located some damage to an empty parked vehicle in the parking lot as well as some damage to an outside passageway of a building. Officers located and collected shell casings. One suspect may have fled eastbound in a white vehicle. No suspects were located. GVRU was notified.

#2024-125968/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1235 hours, officers who were on an unrelated call were flagged down near the intersection of 23rd Avenue South and South Jackson Street. Employees at a business pointed at the suspect stating he was threatening employees and the occupants. Officers contacted the suspect and placed him in handcuffs without incident. After the suspect was in handcuffs, he spat on one officers making contact. Suspect was booked into KCJ for Assault 3 and Malicious Harassment. Hazard report completed and 242 advised.

#2024-126240/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1757 hours, officers responded to a possible shooting at the intersection of 22nd Ave South and South Jackson Street. Multiple callers called stating a gray in color Hyundai was seen shooting at another vehicle. There were no reports of property damage or victims. Shell casings were collected for evidence.
