#2024-128533/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2220 hours, Officer’s responded to the location reference a shooting. Investigation revealed an argument broke out between the suspect and his girlfriend while in a vehicle, outside their apartment. This led to the girlfriend’s family becoming involved, at which point the suspect retrieved a handgun from his vehicle and fired several rounds towards the family, which struck the juvenile victim once in each leg. The suspect then grabbed his girlfriend’s sister and put the gun to her head and threatened to shoot her. The suspect then fled on foot from the location. An area check was completed, and the suspect was not located. Victim was transported to HMC with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Scene processed by patrol.
#2024-128759/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0410 hours, an incident occurred in the 800 block of S Lane St near a Hookah Lounge. There were large crowds outside the above Hookah Lounge. A fight broke out, and one shot was fired. The crowds immediately dispersed before SPD arrived. There were no reports of injury or damage. Officers processed the scene and found a single casing. GVRU was advised.
#2024-128763/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0425 hours, a victim and the suspect were involved in an altercation over a sleeping/camping near the 600 block of S Weller ST. The suspect pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim in his right lower leg. The injury was minor. The suspect left before Officers arrived. The suspect was described as a W/M. The victim was transported to HMC by AMR. Patrol processed the scene.
#2024-128848/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0807 hours, Officers responded to reports of someone stabbed near of 6 Ave / Cherry St. Upon arrival they located a male with a life-threatening stab wound to his left arm. Officers rendered aid and controlled the bleeding until SFD arrived and transported to the subject to HMC. A scene was located, but no suspect was located. KCSO K9 responded for a track with negative results. Homicide was notified.
