Seattle Police detectives with the Traffic Collision Investigations Squad are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle, believed to be a hatchback or coupe, involved in a fatal hit and run collision.
On May 24th at about 9:30 p.m., the vehicle, believed to be a blue 2016-2021 Honda Civic Hatchback, was involved in a collision at Olive Way and Minor Avenue. The pedestrian that was struck succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The vehicle was last seen eastbound on Olive Way heading towards Capitol Hill, in Seattle. There may be lower front bumper damage to the passenger side.

Seattle Police detectives are looking for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run collision that occurred in the Denny Triangle neighborhood Friday night.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m., Seattle Police officers responded to multiple reports of a man struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Olive Way and Minor Avenue. Officers arrived and found a man in the roadway unresponsive.
Seattle Fire Department personnel were on scene and declared the victim deceased.
Officers secured the scene and conducted an area check for the involved vehicles. The involved vehicles were not located.
Detectives assigned to the Traffic Collisions Investigations Squad arrived on scene and will be leading the investigation.
