Police are investigating after a man was shot in Dr. Jose Rizal Park early Sunday morning.
At 2:30 a.m., dispatch received a 911 call reporting a male with a gunshot wound was being driven to a nearby hospital. Once at the hospital, Seattle Fire Department medics began medical aid and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center. The victim is in stable condition.
Police learned the shooting occurred at the park and responded to the area to look for evidence and any additional victims. No additional victims were found. Several shell casings were located.
